Team members work at the intersection of software engineering, data, and physical systems to solve high-impact real-world problems.Role Description As an End-to-End Software Engineer at EntroMetrix, you will design, build, and maintain software systems that power our physics-informed intelligence platform. This full-time, on-site role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Your day-to-day work will include designing system architectures, developing back-end services and APIs, integrating models and data pipelines, and implementing robust, maintainable code across the stack. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and domain experts to translate industrial requirements into scalable software solutions. Additional responsibilities include writing automated tests, participating in code reviews, improving performance and reliability, and contributing to deployment and monitoring workflows.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade systems and services.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and working with databases.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and best practices for modular, maintainable code.Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar) and version control (e.g., Git).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.Comfort working with data-intensive or model-driven systems; experience in industrial, energy, or manufacturing domains is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of end-to-end solutions.
