DiaServ values ethical practice, clinical excellence, and a respectful, inclusive environment for both patients and staff.Role Description The Endocrinologist Adult Consultant will provide specialized clinical care to adult patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory and imaging studies, and developing individualized treatment plans. The consultant will monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, provide medication counseling, and coordinate care with primary care providers and other specialists. Additional duties include supervising junior medical staff, contributing to clinical protocols, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and engaging in patient education on lifestyle and disease management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh.Qualifications Board certification or equivalent qualification in Endocrinology, with substantial experience in adult diabetes and endocrine disorder management.Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.Strong clinical assessment skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of endocrine-related diagnostic tests.Proficiency in developing evidence-based treatment plans, managing complex cases, and providing long-term follow-up care.Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration with nurses, dietitians, educators, and other medical specialists.Clear, empathetic communication skills for counseling patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.Ability to supervise and mentor junior physicians and clinical staff, and contribute to clinical guidelines and protocols.Commitment to continuing medical education, staying current with research and advances in endocrinology and diabetes care.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in documentation and adherence to clinical and ethical standards.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
