Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description This full-time, on-site role in Doha, Qatar is for an Endocrinologist or Internal Medicine Specialist who will deliver comprehensive clinical care with a focus on endocrine and metabolic health. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The clinician will manage conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic syndrome, and related cardiovascular risk factors, coordinating care with other medical and wellness practitioners as needed. The role also involves patient education on lifestyle modification, nutrition, and preventive care, as well as maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical guidelines, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The specialist is expected to contribute to continuous quality improvement, support the integration of holistic practices where clinically appropriate, and uphold high standards of ethical and culturally sensitive care.QualificationsStrong clinical expertise in Medicine and Internal Medicine, with the ability to manage complex adult medical conditions.Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in Endocrinology, including evaluation and treatment of hormonal and metabolic disorders.Clinical proficiency in Diabetes care, including insulin management, complication screening, and multidisciplinary prevention strategies.Experience or training in Pediatric Endocrinology is an advantage, particularly for managing endocrine issues in children and adolescents.Familiarity with Cardiology principles related to endocrine and metabolic disease, including cardiovascular risk assessment and management.Recognized medical degree (MD or equivalent), completion of accredited residency in Internal Medicine and/or fellowship in Endocrinology, with valid licensure in Qatar.Demonstrated commitment to holistic, patient-centered care, with strong communication, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary wellness environment, openness to integrating evidence-based lifestyle and wellness interventions.Proficiency in electronic medical records and adherence to clinical governance, quality, and safety standards.Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an asset.
