Join us on our journey in a fast-growing company. Job Description We are now looking for an Energy Analyst & Strategist to strengthen and grow our Energy Strategy offering. In this role, you will help industrial companies, property owners, municipalities, energy companies and OEMs navigate the energy transition – from analysing energy use, power demand and grid capacity to building business cases for electrification, solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), charging infrastructure and flexibility services.You will work close to our customers and to our engineers within R&D, turning data into clear decisions and actionable roadmaps. You will join a growing team where you have the opportunity to shape both our customer deliveries and how Actrify’s energy strategy services develop going forward. Key responsibilities· Analyse energy consumption, load profiles and power demand to identify savings, peak-shaving and flexibility potential· Build techno-economic models and business cases for BESS, solar PV, charging infrastructure and electrification projects· Follow and interpret the Nordic and European electricity markets – spot prices, grid tariffs, balancing and ancillary services (FCR, aFRR, mFRR) and regulation· Develop energy strategies, roadmaps and investment recommendations for our customers· Assess grid capacity constraints and work with grid owners, utilities and authorities on connection and capacity solutions· Present analyses and recommendations to stakeholders, from operations to executive management· Support business development through pre-studies, proposals and customer workshops· Contribute to market intelligence, thought leadership and courses within Actrify Academy Who are you?We believe you are passionate about the energy transition and enjoy the combination of numbers, technology and strategy. Qualifications· MSc/BSc in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Energy Economics or similar· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial energy analysis, energy consulting or energy systems· Proven experience working directly with industrial companies, electricity grid operators, utilities or municipal energy companies· Established professional network and customer relationships within the Swedish industrial and energy sectors· Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, identify business opportunities and contribute to business growth· Good understanding of the Nordic electricity market, grid tariffs and flexibility and ancillary services markets· Experience of building techno-economic models and business cases (e.g. NPV, LCOE, payback, revenue stacking)· Ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and presentations· Fluent in English, both written and spoken Meritorious· Experience of BESS dimensioning, solar PV or charging infrastructure projects· Knowledge of energy modelling and simulation tools· Knowledge of EU and Swedish energy regulation and support schemes (e.g. EED, CSRD, Klimatklivet)· Experience of doing business with municipalities and municipally owned companies (e.g. municipal housing companies), including public procurement· Experience from having worked at a grid operator (DSO/TSO), utility or municipal energy company· Experience from the industrial, real estate, transport or automotive sector· Consultancy experience About us Actrify is a consultancy company within the field of electrification.
