Apply & track with Apply Edge🌍Energy Data Analyst | Permanent | Hybrid - Brighton | up to £32,000 Are you someone looking to build a career in data and have a passion for sustainability?PT Renewables is exclusively partnered with a growing, specialist consultancy that helps organisations get a grip on their energy, water and carbon data.They're now looking for a new Energy Data Analyst to join the team, being in the midst of energy, carbon and usage data with real scope for someone to continue to grow into it.If you're someone who enjoys digging into a spreadsheet until you find out why the numbers don't add up, this could be a great next move.The RoleOwn energy data end-to-end for a client portfolio - collection, invoicing, and producing journals through SystemsLink.Work with clients and suppliers to investigate and resolve data issues; electricity metering knowledge (ideally MHHS/AMR exposure) is a plusBuild Power BI reports covering consumption, spend and carbon data, including live reportingSpot anomalies and gaps, and follow them through to a proper explanation, not just a flagAct as a genuine client advocate - building relationships and challenging information that doesn't add upThe role will naturally expand into more carbon reporting and wider datasets as your confidence and skills develop.About YouSome background in energy or utilities - brokerage, supplier, consultancy or a wider utility/data environmentNaturally curious and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in the "why" behind the dataConfident communicator who can build relationships with clients and suppliersSystemsLink experience is a strong plus; Power BI exposure helps tooPackage & Benefits£32,000 salaryHybrid working from Brighton officeStructured onboarding, with first six months focused on learning the role and systemsFunded Data Analyst course once established, with a route into a more technical roleRemote working flexibility once settled inExposure to live client portfolios, carbon reporting and M&VIf you're an ambitious Data Analyst with a background in energy or sustainability, we'd love to hear from you!
