Main Purpose of the Job - To lead and manage OH’s Energy Management function across its healthcare facilities portfolio, developing and implementing strategies that optimize energy consumption, improve building and asset performance, reduce operating costs, and support sustainability objectives.The role will lead energy audits, performance monitoring, energy-conservation initiatives, technology evaluation, technical studies, measurement and verification, and continuous improvement programs while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. It will also provide technical leadership in energy-related projects and support the development of digital and remote energy monitoring capabilities.Areas of Responsibility- Formulate and maintain OH’s energy management strategies, policies, procedures, methodologies, objectives, and annual improvement plans.Plan, monitor, analyze, and optimize energy consumption across managed healthcare facilities.Conduct detailed energy audits, facility surveys, benchmarking exercises, and technical assessments to identify Energy Conservation Measures.Develop business cases for energy-efficiency initiatives, including technical feasibility, CAPEX requirements, projected savings, ROI/payback analysis, risks, and implementation recommendations.Establish energy baselines, performance indicators, consumption targets, and Measurement & Verification methodologies to demonstrate actual savings.Monitor HVAC, chilled water, electrical, controls, BMS, and other major energy-consuming systems and identify optimization opportunities.Develop and implement remote energy monitoring and digital energy-management solutions to improve visibility and control across the facilities portfolio.Analyze utility consumption and investigate abnormal usage, consumption trends, demand patterns, and performance deviations.Support technical tender evaluations, specifications, scope development, cost estimates, and commercial assessments for energy-related projects.Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for proposed energy projects and new technologies.Recommend annual improvements to existing control strategies, operating schedules, equipment settings, and building performance.Develop energy dashboards and reporting tools to provide management with timely, accurate, and actionable performance information.Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure energy initiatives comply with contractual requirements, applicable codes, regulations, and One Health standards.Build strategic relationships with energy technology providers, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and other partners in coordination with Procurement and Supply Chain.Monitor industry developments, energy technologies, market trends, regulations, and international best practices and recommend suitable innovations for One Health.Represent One Health professionally in client meetings, technical workshops, exhibitions, conferences, and energy/sustainability forums.Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual energy-performance reports for Facilities Management leadership.Qualification & Skill-Minimum 12 years of Energy Engineering experience.Extensive professional knowledge and experience in Energy Engineering and Energy Management, preferably within large and complex facility portfolios.Strong experience with HVAC, controls, electrical systems, and energy-analysis tools.Demonstrated experience conducting cost-and-savings studies and developing Energy Conservation Measures.Experience performing energy audits, technical feasibility studies, project risk assessments, and measurement and verification.Experience managing energy-efficiency projects, vendors, contractors, and technology providers.Healthcare, large-scale FM, or GCC facilities experience is highly desirable.
