Engine Mechanic Technician

Role:The candidate will Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel and gasoline engines. Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines and generators and related components. Troubleshoot starting, charging, overheating, low-power, vibration, and abnormal-noise problems. The candidate will Perform engine servicing, including oil and filter changes, belt replacement, coolant servicing, and fuel system maintenance. Follow manufacturer specifications, maintenance schedules, and overhaul procedures. Inspect engines, generators, cooling systems, fuel systems, batteries, and electrical components. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment. Conduct generator testing, load-bank testing, and operational checks where required. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and clean condition.Qualifications:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years working experience as Car Mechanic. Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanical system and components. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and repair instructions. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical tools. Very Good understanding of mechanical tools and using automotive diagnostic. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
