ResponsibilitiesPerform engine testing using dynamometer (dyno) systemsSet up and operate engine test benches and instrumentationEnsure safe and efficient test executionCollect and process engine test dataSupport engine durability, thermal, and NVH validation activitiesAnalyze results using data acquisition systemsGenerate test reports and performance insightsAssist calibration teams in optimizing engine performanceSupport tuning activities based on test resultsConduct engine performance evaluation including power, torque, efficiency, and emissionsPerform carbon balance calculations for fuel efficiency and emissions analysisUnderstand and analyze engine operation principlesApply combustion fundamentals to interpret test outcomesTroubleshoot engine and test-related issueQualifications;Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or with experience in a relevant discipline.2-3 years of demonstrated automotive experience with detail-oriented focus in engine/transmission testing supportHands-on experience in Dynamometer (dyno) operation, Engine test cell setup and executionStrong understanding of IC engine working principles, Combustion theory, Carbon balance and emissions calculations, Engine performance metrics.
