Job PurposeThe Business Continuity Engineer is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and partially owning the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) across Maaden Aluminum Business Units.The role ensures that business impact analyses (BIA), risk assessments, business continuity plans (BCPs), and crisis readiness capabilities are effectively developed, maintained, tested, and aligned with ISO 22301, operational risk, and enterprise resilience objectives.The role also provides technical guidance, assurance, reporting, training, and audit support, ensuring organizational preparedness to respond to and recover from disruptive events with minimal impact on safety, operations, compliance, and reputation.Key AccountabilitiesSupport the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in line with ISO 22301 requirements.Contribute to and facilitate business impact analyses (BIA) and business continuity risk assessments, including identification of prevention and mitigation measures.Support the development, review, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) in a structured, consistent, and auditable manner.Provide technical guidance and support to business unit BC focal points and specialists across Ma’aden.Support the planning and execution of business continuity exercises, awareness sessions, workshops, and internal audits.Ensure BCMS objectives are monitored and that all BCMS documentation remains current, accurate, and compliant.Support the closure of internal and external audit findings, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and supported with effective evidence.Maintain and track the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) related to BCMS and management systems.Prepare and consolidate monthly and periodic BCMS and management system reports for business units and management.Minimum Experience:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in: Engineering, or Risk Management, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field3–6 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: Business Continuity ManagementOperational Risk / Operational ExcellenceQuality or Management Systems
