Marine, Mechanical, Welding or Electrical Engineer?⚙️ Or are you a 3rd or 4th Engineer looking to move ashore?I'm keen to speak with Engineers who have strong mechanical skills and are ready for their next career move.Stafforce Ports is supporting a number of fantastic clients across the UK and Ireland, with immediate opportunities available right now.📍 Liverpool OpportunityWe're seeking engineers with at least 3 years' experience gained in industries such as:✅ Marine Engineering✅ Power Generation✅ Stadium Operations✅ Industrial Plant & Machinery✅ Hydraulics✅ Heavy EngineeringOnshore Engineering SupportAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to join our client operating within the marine and engineering sector.This is a full-time, site-based position in Liverpool where you will be providing technical and engineering support to operational activities.You will work closely with the engineering teams, , suppliers, operational personnel and stakeholders to help ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of vessels, equipment and associated assets.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering and technical support to operational activities.Assist with maintenance planning and scheduling.Coordinate repairs and support asset performance monitoring.Liaise with vessel crews, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to resolve engineering issues.Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.Support compliance with safety procedures, engineering standards and regulatory requirements.Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting activities.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and procedures.Support the optimisation of shoreside engineering systems and documentation.What We're Looking ForExperience within marine, mechanical, electrical, welding, industrial or heavy engineering environments.Strong experience in engineering supportTechnical problem-solving skills.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders.A recognised engineering qualification degree level is desirable.Experience using maintenance management systems would be advantageous.Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices.Ability to manage multiple prioritiesMaintaining a high level of attention to detail.If you're an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in your career, or a seagoing engineer seeking a move into an onshore role, please get in touch.BenefitsWork like balance - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Call out Only 1-4 Paid time and half if called outside of standard hoursPaid Double time if called out on Bank holidays33 days holidayOnsite ParkingCareer Progression Candidates must have legal right to work within the UK and be able to commute daily to site
