POLATI, LLC manages both standalone scaffolding construction contracts and comprehensive services that include leasing, design, and installation. The organization emphasizes reliability, technical precision, and adherence to safety standards in all aspects of its scaffolding solutions.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Riyadh. The Engineer will support the design, planning, and implementation of scaffolding structures, ensuring that all installations meet safety regulations, engineering standards, and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and calculations, reviewing site conditions, coordinating with project managers and installation teams, and conducting inspections to verify structural integrity and compliance. The Engineer will help optimize materials usage, contribute to risk assessments, and participate in troubleshooting any engineering issues that arise during construction. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with external partners, and supporting continuous improvement of engineering practices and safety procedures.Qualifications Ability to interpret engineering drawings, perform structural calculations, and apply relevant engineering codes and standards.Experience with construction or industrial projects, preferably involving scaffolding, temporary structures, or work at height.Strong skills in site assessment, risk evaluation, and safety compliance, with a commitment to safe work practices.Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., CAD tools) and basic project documentation tools.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, site supervisors, and installation crews.Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Relevant professional certifications or licenses in engineering or safety (e.g., scaffolding safety, work-at-height training) are an advantage.Previous experience working in the Middle East or familiarity with local construction regulations is beneficial.
