Python forms the core of our scheduling and optimization engine and integrates closely with the broader application platform.Role & Responsibilities:We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer I – Python Developer to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or early-career engineer who has strong programming fundamentals and is excited to build real-world products in a fast-paced startup environment.You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to the development, enhancement, and deployment of our product and engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Python-based applications and services.Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.Work on algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.Debug issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve application performance.Participate in code reviews, testing, and production deployments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product development environment.Learn and contribute to new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices.Required SkillsStrong proficiency in Python.Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Basic understanding of SQL and databases.Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a startup environment.Preferred SkillsInternship or project experience in Python/software development.Exposure to APIs, backend development, or web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.Exposure to algorithms, optimization, or Operations Research.Experience working on projects in a product/startup environment.Familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment practices.What We Are Looking For0–1 year of experience, including strong internship/project experience.Candidates from IITs/NITs with strong academic and technical fundamentals.Candidates who have demonstrated their programming skills through projects, internships, coding competitions, or open-source contributions.A self-starter who is comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.Someone who enjoys solving complex problems and is eager to take ownership and learn.
