Engineer, Procurement Architectural

The Engineer, Procurement Architectural is responsible for supporting procurement activities for infrastructure development projects. The role involves reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQs), evaluating contractor and supplier proposals, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, master plans, and project layouts.Prepare and review technical specifications, scopes of work, and bills of quantities for tendering purposes.Coordinate procurement activities for infrastructure development projects.Evaluate technical proposals submitted by contractors and suppliers.Support tender evaluations, technical comparisons, and contract award recommendations.Coordinate with civil, architectural, and infrastructure teams to ensure design compatibility.Review procurement requirements for roads, sidewalks, street lighting, drainage systems, and utility networks.Monitor material and service procurement to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project schedules.Identify technical discrepancies, assess procurement risks, and support cost optimization initiatives.Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, project requirements, and organizational procurement procedures.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related engineering discipline.Experience in engineering procurement, tendering, or contract administration.Knowledge of infrastructure development projects.Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.Key Competencies: Technical Evaluation | Engineering Procurement | Tender Management | Infrastructure Projects | Cost Optimization | Contract Coordination
