Engineer Service Onboarding & Acceptance

The job owner is accountable for the evaluation and boarding activities of all new infra solutions to be in compliance with company approved targets and procedures.The job owner is responsible to support for assessing information risk and facilitates remediation of identified vulnerabilities for Network security and risk across the entities. Key Accountabilities Support planning and execution of evaluation and boarding activities of all new networks, according to the yearly plan.Ensure proper evaluation of all new network by participating in RFP process, Design, Development and Lab testing.Keep Network Operations up to date with regular progress reports as per Acceptance process Initiative-taking in negotiation with key partners when needed.Define, ensure effectiveness and efficiency, maintain and update all the processes related to the evaluation and boarding of all new network to minimize the risks of outages and post boarding costs overrun Ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory, statutory and in company governance requirements Define standards of service / SLAs for the unit in line with business objectivesCoordinate & support Security Risk Assessments and associated Risk Management review for entire Service Operations team. Domain Risk Advisor for Service Operations in coordination with security teams. Evaluating VA Scan reports and coordinating with Service Operations team to mitigate the vulnerabilities related to telecom and IT systemsResponsible for compliance of SW patching process for all Telecom Network systems.Service Operations SPOC for Internal Control Observations, raised by internal audit teams.Support administratively and functionally in ad-hoc and regular organizational audits and other projects to improve people, processes, and systems within the companySupport in the administrative tracking of audits, the audit follow-up schedule, and centrally storing audit reportsMinimum experience:Minimum 5-10 years of experience in telecommunications / hi-tech industryRisk Management FrameworkTL9000 FrameworkITIL FrameworkAutomation, AI, Data analytics preferred Minimum education:Minimum bachelor degree in computer, electrical, network Engineering or IT (any telecom equivalent ) Knowledge and skills:Ability to lead large transformation projects.Analytical thinking Problem Solving and Decision MakingTeamwork and CooperationStrong negotiation and facilitation skillsProven record of managing vendors Proven record in governance and financial managementStrong management skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environmentFluent in English and Arabic is advantage
