About the Role:T – Mobile is transforming into a digital–first, AI-enabled, and data–driven organization, building modern platforms that power critical business functions at scale. A key focus area is evolving our Commissions systems into scalable, real–time, microservice–based architectures.What You’ll Do:Design and develop scalable microservices for commission processing using Java and Spring Boot.Build and expose well – designed RESTful APIs for commission calculations, adjustments, and reporting.Decompose monolithic commission systems into loosely coupled, domain–driven microservices.Implement high – performance, low – latency services capable of handling high transaction volumes.Apply microservices design patterns (circuit breaker, retry, idempotency, fault tolerance).Develop event–driven services using messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) where applicable.Optimize application performance through JVM tuning, concurrency handling, and efficient resource management.Ensure API reliability, versioning, and backward compatibility across services.Collaborate with product and business teams to translate commission rules into scalable service logic.Integrate microservices with downstream systems (databases, external APIs, financial systems).Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing) for distributed systems.Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.What You’ll Bring:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or related field, plus relevant years of experience in a related technical discipline.Familiarity with event–driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).Strong problem – solving, debugging, and system design skills.Effective communication and collaboration in global, cross–functional teams.Must Have Skills:4 + years of experience in Java development with strong core Java and JVM fundamentals.Hands – on experience building microservices using Spring Boot.Strong expertise in RESTful API design and development.Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems principles.Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization in Java.Familiarity with event–driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). AI & agent tooling:Proficient in AI coding/automation assistants (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent). Able to design, build, and deploy AI agents as first-class platform components - agent-driven CI/CD workflows, automated runbook execution, vulnerability triage automation, and developer self-service tooling powered by AI.Nice-to-Have:Experience in commissions, billing, or financial systems.Familiarity with Oracle databases or RDS in a microservices environment.Experience with Spring Cloud ecosystem (Config, Gateway, Open Feign).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Scripting experience (Python, Shell) for automation.
