The company operates with a commitment to excellence and long-term partnerships.Role DescriptionThe Engineering & Maintenance Manager will oversee daily maintenance and engineering operations in our Valenzuela City facility, ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing repair activities, supervising a team of technicians, and optimizing the performance and longevity of equipment. The Manager will also ensure compliance with safety regulations, coordinate with other departments for operational support, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Valenzuela City.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related engineering coursePreferably Licensed Mechanical or Electrical EngineerAbility to manage variety of cross functional team membersCompetent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.Technical capability and understandingStrong background in food manufacturing equipment: boiler operations, retort machines, steam jacketed kettles, rotary filling machine, multi-lane form fill seal machine, and horizontal form fill machines. Additional Job Description:Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively.Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy.Manage the process of the introduction of new machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with all relevant parties.
