Do you combine strong technical expertise in AI and data science with proven leadership and project management skills?We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead international engineering teams, deliver innovative AI solutions for top-tier clients, and help shape the future of machine learning, Generative AI and quantum technologies.This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on technical knowledge with strategic leadership, driving complex AI projects from concept through to production.🔍 What You’ll Be DoingLead international engineering teams to develop and deliver innovative AI solutions to complex industry challenges.Drive technical strategy and architecture, ensuring the right technologies and approaches are selected for each project.Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI/ML projects, from defining scope and objectives to deployment and ongoing performance monitoring.Lead the design, development and production deployment of machine learning, computer vision, Generative AI, RAG and Agentic AI systems.Work with LLM fine-tuning, alignment and model optimisation techniques to build tailored, high-performance AI solutions.Manage project plans, budgets, resources, timelines, risks and deliverables, ensuring projects meet quality and business objectives.Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, translating business needs into effective technical solutions.Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.Contribute to technology strategy, innovation and research, helping clients take advantage of emerging AI and quantum technologies.✅ What We’re Looking ForA Master’s or PhD in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline.5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI, data science, deep learning or software engineering.Proven experience designing, implementing and deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud-based production environments, including RAG and Agentic AI.Strong understanding of LLMs, including fine-tuning, alignment, pruning and model compression techniques.Excellent programming skills in Python, with practical experience using Docker, Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.Experience with Agile methodologies, project planning, risk management and delivery best practices.Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
