With more than 1200 consultants across 10 countries, we combine business and IT expertise to support leading institutions in transformation projects.Our core areas:➡Quantitative Finance➡Risk & Compliance➡Operations & Finance➡Transformation & Organization➡ Information Systems.🔎 We are looking for an Engineering Manager📝 MAIN TASKSOwn software delivery and ensure predictable, high-quality execution.Translate business priorities and technology strategy into realistic engineering plans.Lead, coach, and develop engineers, including feedback, performance, staffing, and recruitment.Provide technical leadership and promote engineering best practices, quality, maintainability, and testability.Ensure operational excellence, system reliability, and continuous improvement.Work closely with Product Owners, Agile Leads, and business stakeholders to align product and technology priorities.Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and technical debt.Drive technology strategy, standardization, automation, and engineering improvement initiatives.Build an empowered, collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving engineering culture.Support distributed teams across Germany and Portugal and participate in day-to-day agile team activities.🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or a similar technical role.Experience leading, coaching, and developing engineers or engineering teams.Strong technical knowledge combined with people leadership and delivery ownership.Good understanding of software quality, maintainability, testing, and operational excellence.Ability to translate business priorities into realistic engineering plans and execution.Strong collaboration skills with Product Owners, stakeholders, Agile Leads, and technical teams.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Passion for building empowered, collaborative, and continuously improving teams.Fluency in English - written and spoken (B2+).🎁 WHAT WE OFFERThis role offers a gross annual salary between 30.000€ to 60.000€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.Permanent contract (CTI).Meal allowance.Health Insurance.Extra holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.Access to Quanteam Academy for continuous learning and certifications.Elevate Program to support professional development and career growth.Career progression plan.Ongoing follow-up and technical support provided by a Consultant Expert.

Location: Venda do PinheiroWork Model: First few months – 1 day per week in the office; After the initial period – 1 day per month in the office
