Engineering Manager (Dubai)

Job Responsibilities:Provide guidance on developing cloud-native web applications.Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise grade microservicesDeliver assigned projects within budgeted time, cost and agreed quality standards in Agile Scrum environmentPartner with Product Management, Architects, Operations, other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needsLead teams to ensure project delivery successApply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code-qualityYou work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment.Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.Create a culture that insists on meeting expectations and delivering valueDrive automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvementGrow and manage the skills and talent in the teamManage communication cross-functionally and escalate promptly as issues ariseTake responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project deliveryExcellent problem-solving skillsYou Must Have:Bachelor's degree with 12 – 15 years related experience, of which at least 8+ years in development, 4+ years of Engineering Management role and leading scrum teams.Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, or GoExperience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Azure, Amazon, Rackspace, GCP etc.)Exposure to continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.Experience in eCommerce domain is a plusStrong hands-on knowledge and experience in design and codingHands on experience in Java, J2ee technologies.Experience with Web applications development using Java and MVCExperience in managing and rolling out React Native, Android and iOS applications.Experience with massive-scale performance and scalability engineeringMust have extensive experience managing projects with Agile Scrum methodologyMust be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfactionMust have strong organization, communication and planning skillsLocation: Dubai, UAE
