This role requires a highly accomplished engineering professional from a top-tier MEP contracting organization with proven expertise in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, BIM coordination, design management, technical governance, value engineering, and project delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the leadership, technical excellence, and commercial awareness required to successfully oversee engineering operations for multiple mega-scale projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.Ideal Candidate Profile✅ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)✅ Minimum 15-20 years of MEP contracting experience, with at least 8 years in senior engineering leadership roles✅ Proven track record with leading Tier-1 MEP Contractors in the UAE/GCC market✅ Extensive experience managing the engineering and technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects.✅ Demonstrated success in overseeing engineering teams across projects with combined values exceeding AED 500 Million+Key CompetenciesEngineering & Technical LeadershipLead the complete engineering lifecycle from design review through project handover.Direct multidisciplinary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Public Health engineering teams.Establish engineering strategies and technical governance frameworks across multiple projects.Provide executive-level technical leadership, ensuring engineering excellence at every stage.Design ManagementLead detailed design reviews, design development, and technical compliance processes.Manage consultant coordination and resolve complex engineering interface issues.Ensure optimized and buildable engineering solutions are developed and implemented.Drive Value Engineering initiatives to maximize efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.BIM & Digital Engineering ExcellenceAdvanced knowledge of BIM, Digital Engineering, and Design Coordination.Strong understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Clash Detection, 4D/5D BIM methodologies, and Digital Construction workflows.Lead BIM teams to ensure seamless multidisciplinary coordination and model integration.Utilize BIM technologies to mitigate risks, improve constructability, and enhance project execution.Multi-Project ManagementSimultaneously oversee engineering functions across multiple major projects.Ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with project schedules and client requirements.Monitor engineering performance, resource allocation, and project milestones.Support project teams in overcoming technical challenges and critical design issues.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary engineering focal point with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.Build and maintain strategic relationships with project partners and senior management teams.Lead technical presentations, workshops, and engineering reviews with executive stakeholders.Innovation & Operational ExcellenceDrive engineering innovation, process improvement, and implementation of best practices.Champion sustainable engineering solutions and modern construction methodologies.Establish lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.Essential RequirementsExtensive experience working with Tier-1 MEP Contracting Companies.Deep knowledge of international engineering standards, local authority regulations, and UAE/GCC construction practices.Strong expertise in Design Management, BIM, Digital Engineering, and Technical Delivery.Proven leadership in managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams.Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
