Engineering Manager – Mobile & Frontend (Flutter).

We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of Mobile and Frontend engineers.This is a mobile-first, player-coach role for an experienced Flutter engineer who has grown into engineering leadership but remains actively involved in architecture, development, and technical problem-solving.The right candidate will bring significant hands-on Flutter/Dart experience, a track record of shipping production mobile applications, and the ability to lead both mobile and web UI engineers.Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Mobile and Frontend engineers.- Own mobile architecture and guide technical direction across the frontend.- Remain hands-on with Flutter development, code reviews, and complex technical challenges.- Drive mobile features from design and implementation through production release.- Provide technical leadership across mobile and web UI development.- Partner with product, backend, and engineering leadership to deliver reliable, scalable applications.- Establish engineering standards for code quality, performance, testing, and maintainability.- Balance hands-on technical contributions with team management and delivery responsibilities.Required Qualifications- Significant hands-on Flutter/Dart experience building and shipping production mobile applications.- Experience managing or leading software engineering teams.- A demonstrated player-coach approach, with continued involvement in coding and technical decisions.- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, application performance, and API integration.- Experience with native iOS and/or Android development.- Ability to provide technical direction to web UI engineers.- Experience making architectural decisions and guiding engineers through complex technical challenges.- Strong communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.The OpportunityYou’ll work directly with engineering leadership to shape the mobile platform while leading the engineers responsible for building it.We’re looking for someone who can set technical direction, develop the team, and still roll up their sleeves to build and ship software.
