Engineering Manager - Projects (12-Months Extendable)

With a decade of experience in the region and a team that possesses extensive knowledge of the market, we provide a fully integrated HR solution.We are currently recruiting a Engineering Manager - Projects for our client, based in UAE for Projects in Dubai & Abu Dhabi period of 12 Months (Extendable).Job Purpose:The Engineering Manager - Projects is responsible for leading engineering and project execution activities for High Voltage Substation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and customer requirements. The role serves as the key technical interface between customers, EPC contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Job Responsibilities:Lead engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.Coordinate with customers, EPC contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Review and approve technical documents, drawings, specifications, and supplier deliverables.Manage technical interfaces for electrical, automation, construction, and commissioning activities.Facilitate interface coordination meetings and track project actions and risks.Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), installation, and commissioning activities.Provide technical support, resolve engineering issues, and ensure project requirements are met.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and company standards.Support project risk management and implement mitigation strategies when required.Job Requirements:5-10 years of experience in engineering, erection, commissioning, or project execution within High Voltage Substations.Proven experience in turnkey/EPC power projects.Strong knowledge of project engineering, construction coordination, and technical interface management.Experience leading engineering teams and managing project work packages.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in multinational and multicultural environments.Willingness to travel to customer, vendor, and project sites as required.We are specifically seeking candidates with experience in Power Transmission & Distribution, High Voltage Substations, Grid Solutions, or Energy Projects.
