• Overseeing the design team performance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design work, and fostering acollaborative and innovative environment.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that design projects align with company goals and brandguidelines.
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and implement design strategies.
• Develop analysis and computer models of structures steel lattice towers, steel Monopoles, rooftops poles,antenna.
• Investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing projects or components.
• Consolidate technical reports to summaries and share findings.
• Cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new projects or components.
• Design the aesthetics, materials and functionality of components.
• Identify new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs.
• Communicate effectively with the clients, colleagues and contractors involved in a project.
• Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
• Analyze the design proposals and the technical information in order to identify the issues arising duringproduct development.
• Define and implement adequate solutions in order to reach a feasible proposal with a high form andaesthetic quality.
• Attend design reviews to present design ideas and to discuss and critique alternative design solutions.
• Analyze electrical design requirements for data center projects and prepare detailed design and IFCdeliverables.
• Perform electrical design calculations, including load estimation, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, shortcircuitstudies, protection coordination, earthing design, and equipment sizing.
• Design MV/LV power systems, including transformers, generators, UPS, ATS, switchgear, busway systems, andelectrical distribution architectures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, conduct technical reviews, verify designs, and supportconstruction execution.Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer(ATD) or an equivalent recognized data center design certification is required.
