Engineering Technical Lead - Banking - SingaporeA major international bank is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to drive the technical vision, solution architecture, and delivery of mission‑critical platforms in the financial markets and wealth management domains. This is a rare opportunity to lead globally distributed squads, shape next‑generation trading and order management systems, and stay close to cutting‑edge technology.What you’ll do:Lead engineering squads across front‑end and back‑end, owning technical delivery, design assurance, and roadmap evolution.Architect and modernize high‑throughput, low‑latency platforms for pricing, execution, and order management.Drive adoption of cloud‑native, microservices‑based architectures (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform).Partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex multi‑asset product requirements into scalable, resilient solutions.Mentor engineers, enforce engineering standards, and embed DevSecOps practices.What we’re looking for:10+ years of full‑stack engineering experience, with deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot), ReactJS, Redux, RXJS, Python.Strong background in solution architecture, system design, and distributed systems.Experience building real‑time, event‑driven, latency‑sensitive applications using Kafka, WebSockets, AMQ, Cassandra.Domain knowledge in financial markets (FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Derivatives, e‑trading).Proven leadership in agile product development, with ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage global teams.Cloud and platform engineering depth: CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, cloud security principles.Bonus: exposure to AI‑enabled development tools, LLM integrations, blockchain.Personal attributes: Strategic yet hands‑on, outcome‑focused, able to simplify complex technology topics for business audiences, and passionate about building resilient, high‑performance systems.
