English & Communication Trainer (Native Speaker)

Crossian is seeking an English & Communication Trainer to build and run our organization-wide language and communication capability from the ground up.In this role, you will bridge the gap between English language proficiency and real-world business execution. You will diagnose everyday business challenges such as weak supplier negotiations, unclear customer communication, or internal alignment issues, and deliver targeted training that elevates both English fluency and core communication behaviours (clarity, confidence, and directness).You will empower our teams to express complex ideas naturally in English, speak up with conviction, and exercise independent judgment. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in sharpening authentic communication, helping employees express original, critical-thinking-driven ideas rather than relying on surface-level AI tools.WHAT YOU WILL DODiscovery & Diagnosis:Map language usage and communication channels across all business units from scratch, identifying specific English language gaps, behavioural barriers, and operational friction.Partner with Line Managers and Leadership to validate findings, ensuring training directly addresses real-world business challenges.Design & Delivery:Build, test, and continuously refine Crossian’s English & Communication Skills Framework.Design and deliver high-impact, context-rich learning paths blending English language instruction (vocabulary, nuance, structure) with functional communication skills (pitching, negotiating, email etiquette, and active listening).Facilitate dynamic workshops, small-group coaching, and 1-on-1 sessions tailored to adult learners.Impact & Continuous Improvement:Track observable behavior changes and language progress using manager feedback, work-product evaluations, and framework metrics.Measure business impact (e.g., fewer clarification cycles, smoother supplier interactions, clearer client presentations) and continuously optimize training programs based on performance data.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBackground: Native English speaker from the UK, North America, Australia, or New Zealand.Education & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Language Teaching, or holding a recognized teaching credential (TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, ESL, or equivalent).Experience: 3+ years in Corporate Training, L&D, or Business Communication Training for adult learners / working professionals (preferably in E-commerce, Tech, Product, or multinational environments)."Build-from-Scratch" Mindset: Comfortable working with ambiguity, mapping needs from scratch, and building frameworks without relying on off-the-shelf templates.Business & Diagnostic Acumen: Ability to link communication issues to root business problems and distinguish between language ability, confidence, and execution barriers.Critical Evaluation: Skilled at evaluating authentic thought process and communication effectiveness vs. polished AI-generated content.Work Mode & Commitment: Full-time Onsite at our Hanoi office with a commitment to at least 12 months of work at Crossian.Legal Requirements: Valid documents eligible to apply for a Business Visa and Work Permit to legally work in Vietnam.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTA Prestigious Corporate Career: A stable, full-time role within a global corporate environment, offering clear long-term career progression and direct collaboration with executive leadership.Bridge Academia and Industry: A unique platform to apply advanced pedagogical expertise, academic rigor, and structured communication frameworks directly to real-world business challenges.Strategic Ownership: Real ownership to design, build, and refine Crossian’s communication DNA from scratch, free of pre-packaged or rigid syllabi, working within a clear, collaborative sign-off structure with the L&D Team Lead and CoE heads.High-Impact Intellectual Culture: Work alongside ambitious, forward-thinking professionals in a modern environment that values critical thinking, authentic expression, and intellectual independence.Comprehensive Benefits & Legal Support: Highly competitive compensation, performance bonuses, premium health insurance, and full company sponsorship for official legal work authorization (Visa & Work Permit) in Vietnam.
