The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English and Social Studies lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching middle school students, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The teacher will create a supportive classroom environment, manage behavior positively, and integrate critical thinking, reading, writing, and discussion activities. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, communicating regularly with parents, and participating in school events, meetings, and professional development.Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in Social Studies, including World History and related disciplines.Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development for middle school learners.Experience teaching middle school students, with the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.Excellent English language skills, including reading, writing, and communication suitable for classroom instruction.Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, Social Studies, or a related field; teaching certification or license is preferred.Ability to create an inclusive, learner-centered classroom that promotes respect, collaboration, and critical thinking.Strong classroom management, organizational, and time-management skills.Comfort with using educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues and parents.
