Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and experienced English Language & Literature Tutor to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience teaching students from NRI, UK, US, or other international backgrounds.The tutor should be comfortable working with different curricula and adapting lessons according to the student's academic level, learning needs, and school requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach English Grammar, Vocabulary, Literature, Reading & Writing to students from Grade 1–10.Develop students' spoken English, communication, pronunciation, and confidence.Teach creative writing, story writing, comprehension, and sentence construction.Encourage creative thinking, critical thinking, and independent expression.Design engaging and interactive online lessons based on the student's level and requirements.Adapt teaching methods according to different curricula, learning styles, and age groups.Support students following UK Curriculum, GCSE, IGCSE, US Curriculum, and other international curricula.Prepare students for school assignments, assessments, examinations, and academic improvement.Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and the academic team.Create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment.RequirementsStrong command of English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and writing.Excellent spoken and written English.Prior experience teaching Grade 1–10 students.Experience with NRI / UK / US / international students is highly preferred.Knowledge of UK Curriculum, GCSE and IGCSE is an advantage.Experience with online teaching and virtual classroom platforms.Ability to teach both younger children and secondary-level students.Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.Patient, adaptable, creative, and student-focused approach.Preferred CandidateWe are particularly interested in tutors who can go beyond textbook teaching and help students think creatively, communicate confidently, write effectively, and develop a genuine interest in English.Job Type: Online / RemoteStudent Level: Grade 1–10Curricula: UK Curriculum, GCSE, IGCSE, US & International Curricula
