Experienced staff coordinate closely with host institutions to ensure that students are welcomed and supported academically, socially, and personally.Role Description The English Language Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sylhet. The instructor will design and deliver English language lessons that develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for academic and general purposes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classes in group and one-on-one formats, assessing student performance through tests and assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support progress. The role involves guiding students in exam preparation (such as IELTS or similar English proficiency exams), maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, and collaborating with counseling staff to align language training with students’ overseas education goals. The instructor is also expected to participate in curriculum development, contribute to teaching resources, and uphold a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in English Teaching and Language Teaching, with the ability to instruct learners at varying proficiency levels.Strong background in Teaching and Education, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner-centered instructional methods.Proficiency in Writing, especially in teaching academic writing skills and supporting students with application essays and exam tasks.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced qualifications or teaching certifications (e.g., CELTA, TESOL) are an advantage.Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with clear, neutral English pronunciation and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.Experience preparing students for international English proficiency exams (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, PTE) is highly beneficial.Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a student-centered approach to mentoring and guidance.Ability to work collaboratively with counselors and administrative staff, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate academic records.
