The Lecturer will plan, deliver, and assess English language and literature courses, ensuring that lessons align with institutional standards and learner needs. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures and tutorials, guiding learner discussions, and providing constructive feedback on assignments and examinations. The role also involves participating in curriculum reviews, maintaining accurate academic records, mentoring learners, and contributing to departmental meetings and academic events. The Lecturer is expected to engage in continuous professional development to keep teaching methods current and effective.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Lecturing, with experience delivering engaging and learner-centered classes.Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education, including the ability to design, evaluate, and update course materials and learning outcomes.Candidates should possess skills in Teaching, including classroom management, assessment design, and the use of varied instructional methods.Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support an inclusive learning environment.Prior experience in higher education or tertiary-level teaching is an advantage.Commitment to ethical conduct, learner support, and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
