The college emphasizes high-quality English education, internationally recognized qualifications, and a supportive learning environment for learners at different proficiency levels.Role Description The English Lecturer will deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge English exam requirements for learners of varying ages and proficiency levels. Responsibilities include planning and teaching classes, preparing lesson materials, conducting assessments, and providing feedback to support student progress. The Lecturer will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in academic meetings, and maintain accurate records of student performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Galle, requiring regular classroom teaching, interaction with students and parents, and collaboration with colleagues to uphold academic standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Lecturing, with experience delivering lessons to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education, including designing lesson plans and aligning teaching materials with Cambridge English exam frameworks.Candidates should possess skills in Teaching methodologies, classroom management, and student assessment to ensure effective learning outcomes.Relevant academic qualifications in English, Linguistics, Education, TESOL, or a related field; Cambridge English teaching certifications (e.g., CELTA, DELTA) are an advantage.Excellent spoken and written English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.Prior experience preparing students for Cambridge English Exams or similar international English assessments is highly beneficial.
