English Literature Tutor (Online) | Years 3–11 | GCSE, KS2 SATs & 11+We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated English Educator to join our growing team and deliver engaging online lessons to students from Year 3 through Year 11.Key Responsibilities* Deliver high-quality online English lessons to students across Years 3–11.* Prepare students for: * KS2 SATs * 11+ Grammar School Entrance Examinations * GCSE English Language and English Literature* Develop lesson plans, resources, homework, and assessments tailored to individual student needs.* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.* Foster a positive and engaging online learning environment.* Adapt teaching methods to suit students of varying abilities and learning styles.Essential Requirements* A Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Literature, Education, or a related field.* Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English.* Strong understanding of the *UK National Curriculum*.* Experience preparing students for *GCSE, KS2 SATs, and 11+ examinations*.* Familiarity with major *GCSE exam boards**, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and Eduqas*.* Ability to confidently teach students from *Year 3 to Year 11*.* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.* Access to a *pen tablet* and/or proficiency in using an *interactive online whiteboard* for lesson delivery.* Reliable internet connection and a professional online teaching setup.Preferred Qualifications* Previous experience teaching within the UK education system.* Experience working with high-achieving students and grammar school entrance preparation.* Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for an educator who:* Is passionate about English and student success.* Has a strong grasp of examination requirements and assessment objectives.* Can build confidence and academic skills in students across a wide age range.* Is organised, reliable, and committed to delivering outstanding online lessons.*Position Type:* Full-time / Part-time / Freelance*Location:* Remote (Online)If you have the expertise to support students from Year 3 to Year 11 and a strong understanding of GCSE, KS2 SATs, and 11+ preparation, we would love to hear from you.
