The team is focused on delivering practical, outcome-driven training that directly supports career growth.Role Description The English Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Thoothukudi. The English Mentor will guide learners in improving their English language skills for placements, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive classroom sessions, conducting assessments, providing individualized feedback, and supporting students in interview and group discussion preparation. The role also involves creating or adapting learning materials, tracking learner progress, and collaborating with other mentors to maintain consistent quality and outcomes. The English Mentor is expected to foster a supportive learning environment that encourages confidence, clarity, and professional communication.Qualifications Strong command of English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, writing, and speaking.Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training students or early-career professionals in English or communication skills.Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons, assessments, and practice activities aligned with placement requirements.Excellent classroom management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate diverse groups of learners.Comfort with using digital tools (presentation software, learning platforms, online resources) to support instruction.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communication, or a related field; a relevant teaching or training certification is an advantage.Prior experience in placement training, soft skills coaching, or working with college students is preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work full-time on-site in Thoothukudi.
