English Second Language Instructor

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Eastern region in Saudi Arabia for an English Second Language Instructor. The instructor will plan, deliver, and assess engaging English language lessons for learners at various proficiency levels, using a range of teaching methods and resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, facilitating individual and group activities, providing constructive feedback, monitoring learner progress, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum refinement, participating in staff meetings and training sessions, and helping to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment. The instructor will support learners’ goals in academic, professional, and everyday settings while promoting clear communication and confidence in English.QualificationsStrong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to differentiate for varied proficiency levels.Experience or training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, including familiarity with common TEFL methodologies.Background in Curriculum Development to design structured, goal-oriented lesson plans and course materials.Knowledge of Linguistics to explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language usage clearly and accurately.Relevant teaching qualification or certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and, preferably, a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.Excellent spoken and written English communication skills and strong classroom management abilities.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, use educational technology, and engage in ongoing professional development.
