The work environment promotes collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth for educators.Role DescriptionThe English Second Language instructor will deliver engaging, learner-centered English lessons to students at varying proficiency levels. This full-time/part time, on-site/remote role is based in Cairo, Egypt, and involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to support language development. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating lesson plans and materials, teaching in group and one-on-one settings, preparing learners for exams such as IELTS when required, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and achievement. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching practices, participate in training or meetings, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.QualificationsStrong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners of different levels and backgrounds.Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing structured, goal-oriented lessons and selecting appropriate teaching materials.Experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and familiarity with methodologies for non-native speakers.Knowledge of IELTS preparation and exam requirements, with the ability to coach students toward target scores.Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.Clear spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts simply and effectively.Strong classroom management, organization, and time-management skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt teaching approaches to student needs.
