Wall Street English is seeking an English Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team in Hong Kong.This is a fantastic opportunity where, as a Teacher at Wall Street English, you'll play a key role in guiding students through their English language journey. As part of the Service Team, you'll collaborate with qualified teachers, coaches (personal tutors), and receptionists to ensure a premium learning experience. Through your teaching, you'll inspire students and help them achieve success both personally and professionally.Here's what a day in the life of a teacher is like at Wall Street English: A Teacher´s PerspectiveWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering dynamic, student-centered lessons to help students achieve their language goals. You are part of a collaborative team focused on providing a premium learning experience while continuously growing professionally.Classroom InstructionApply Wall Street English methodology consistently in all teaching activities.Develop and prepare lesson plans for all classes.Plan and deliver engaging, interactive classes to ensure successful language acquisition at all levels.Teach core classes (Encounters) with a maximum of 4 students, focusing on personalized instruction.Conduct complementary classes to reinforce newly learned skills.Provide feedback and motivation to students at the end of each class, in line with Wall Street English methodology.Design and lead Social Clubs/English Corners based on student interests to promote community.Record and track student results in the Learner Management System.Optionally teach Corporate Clients in companies.Student Support and EngagementInspire, motivate, and support students to reach their learning objectives.Encourage students to practice outside of class and engage with the global Wall Street English community via Wall Street English World.Celebrate student milestones and successes in-center and online.Ensure the center remains warm, welcoming, and organized for students.Professional DevelopmentParticipate in ongoing product training and complete personalized development plans provided by your manager.Attend skills development seminars and staff meetings to stay updated and improve teaching skills.Act as a mentor to new teachers, offering support and guidance during their integration.Brand PromotionActively promote Wall Street English as a premium provider of English language instruction.Contribute to the local and global Wall Street English community through social media.Your ProfileA recognized 120-hour in-house TEFL qualification (including CELTA)Bachelor’s degreePassion for developing learners’ confidence and skillsDesire to work as part of a diverse team of professionalsCommitment to continuous professional developmentEnthusiasm for being part of a supportive, collaborative, and learner-focused environmentNice-to-HavePrevious English teaching experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryMonthly bonus (subject to KPIs)Performance bonusesMedical insuranceTraining and ongoing in-service supportCareer progression opportunities14 days annual leaveHome leave (Overseas teacher only)Visa sponsorshipWe also offer part-time opportunities, with a tailored employment package and benefits.With Wall Street English you will go further.We are Wall Street English, the premier provider of English language instruction for individuals and corporate clients around the world.
