Students also benefit from ongoing academic, social, and welfare assistance through coordinated programs with host institutions.Role Description The English Second Language Teacher at SHAKIL EDUCATION GROUP will deliver engaging English language lessons to students preparing for international study and English proficiency exams. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, assessing learner progress, providing individualized feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will design curriculum materials aligned with exam requirements such as IELTS, facilitate interactive classroom activities, and support learners in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Additional duties may include participating in academic counseling sessions, collaborating with colleagues on program improvement, and contributing to workshops or training sessions for students. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sylhet.QualificationsThe candidate must have an IELTS overall score of 7.5.Candidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, including Teaching English as a Foreign Language and general Teaching experience.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, learner-centered lessons.Candidates should possess knowledge of IELTS preparation and related exam-focused teaching strategies.Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field are preferred.Professional certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) and experience teaching diverse learner groups are beneficial.Candidates should possess clear communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a supportive, student-focused approach.Familiarity with international education pathways and an interest in guiding students toward overseas study opportunities are advantageous.
