It offers the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, develop engaging learning experiences and work with students from kindergarten through to university and adult age groups.We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, enjoys thinking creatively and is excited by the opportunity to contribute new ideas to English language education.About APILS School GroupAPILS School Group is a network of English-language schools based in Bangkok, Thailand, providing additional English-language education to Thai students.We aim to make English education accessible to students from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly those who may otherwise have fewer opportunities to access quality English-language education.Our programmes are delivered by a diverse team of Thai and international educators, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, student development, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.Join APILS and become part of a growing education team committed to expanding access to quality English education for students across Bangkok and beyond.About the RoleWorking Days: Wednesday–SundayThe position is primarily divided between English lesson-plan and materials development from Wednesday to Friday and English teaching on Saturday and Sunday, with some additional teaching opportunities during the week.It is designed for someone who enjoys working creatively while also having the opportunity to put educational ideas into practice in the classroom. Wednesday–Friday: English Lesson Plan Design & Occasional TeachingDuring the week, your primary responsibility will be working with the Listening & Speaking team to develop creative and engaging English-language lessons, activities and learning materials for students from kindergarten through to university levels.The role will involve researching new ideas, developing lesson concepts, and finding creative ways to make English learning practical, interactive and enjoyable.You will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and creativity while working collaboratively with the team to develop lessons and materials that can be used across APILS programmes.On Thursday and Friday evenings, you may also teach approximately two hours of English classes as part of our Intensive Learning Support Programme. These sessions are delivered in small groups, typically consisting of around four to five students, providing an opportunity for more focused and personalized teaching. Saturday–Sunday: English TeachingAt weekends, your primary responsibility will be teaching English-language classes to APILS students across different age groups and proficiency levels.Classes will be allocated according to programme needs, with consideration also given to the teacher's experience, strengths and preferred age groups.The focus is on creating energetic, supportive and communicative English lessons that encourage students to participate, build confidence and develop their ability to use English effectively. Total Weekly hours: 40hrs.
