English Teacher

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based at Ihsan International School in Istanbul. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and instructional materials, assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams, and providing constructive feedback to support student growth. The role involves creating an inclusive classroom environment, managing classroom behavior, collaborating with colleagues and school leadership, communicating regularly with families or guardians, and participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience instructing diverse learners.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, outcomes-based lessons.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or licensure is preferred.Experience working in international or multicultural school environments is beneficial.Ability to use classroom technology and digital learning tools to enhance instruction.Strong classroom management skills and a student-centered, inclusive teaching approach.Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration within a team-focused school culture.
