I CAN READ Indonesia offers a supportive learning environment that values student progress, effective teaching, and clear communication with families.Role Description The English Teacher will deliver engaging, level-appropriate English lessons to children and teenagers, following the I CAN READ curriculum and teaching guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting interactive classroom activities, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to learners and parents or guardians. The teacher will help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment, manage student behavior, and support learners with different needs and proficiency levels. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tanjungkarang-Telukbetung, requiring consistent classroom presence, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in training sessions and school events.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners across a range of ages and proficiency levels.Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, engaging, and goal-oriented learning activities.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a clear and professional manner.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, and/or teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) are beneficial.Experience teaching children and teenagers in classroom or language center settings, with a focus on literacy and language development, is highly advantageous.Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive, respectful learning environment and to manage classroom dynamics effectively.Willingness to participate in ongoing training, follow established curriculum guidelines, and work on-site full time in Tanjungkarang-Telukbetung.
