The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum requirements, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes across assigned grades, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain classroom discipline, create an inclusive and motivating learning environment, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress. Additional duties include participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities, as well as contributing to extracurricular or enrichment programs related to English language and literature.Qualifications Strong English Teaching and general Teaching skills, with the ability to engage learners of different ages and abilities.Lesson Planning and Education expertise, including curriculum alignment and effective classroom strategies.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with students, colleagues, and families.Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.Formal teacher training or certification suited to CBSE or equivalent school systems.Experience in classroom management, student assessment, and use of varied teaching methods and learning resources.Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and student learning.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and to the social-emotional development of students.
