School Description: Bergen Catholic High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school founded in 1955 by the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers and located in Oradell, Bergen County, New Jersey. The school also prioritizes faith formation and social responsibility, guided by the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education.Role Description: The English Teacher will provide instruction in English language arts to high school students, planning and delivering lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing engaging learning activities, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in department and faculty meetings, and contribute to school-wide initiatives that support student growth and success. Additional responsibilities include classroom management, communicating regularly with families and guardians, and supporting the school’s mission and values. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oradell, New Jersey.
