Our lessons are taught in small groups and combine English with games, movement, music, stories and creative activities.We are now looking for a new teacher to join our friendly and supportive team for the 2026/27 school year.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable English Teacher for Children to join our team in Kranj.You will teach English to children aged approximately 4–13 in small groups, using the Helen Doron methodology and our prepared teaching materials.This is not traditional classroom teaching. Our lessons are active, playful and highly interactive – we want children to speak, move, participate and most importantly, enjoy using English.The position is on-site in Kranj, with teaching taking place mainly in the afternoons.We are offering a one-year fixed-term position, with the possibility of continued long-term cooperation and employment.What you'll doTeach English to children aged 4–13 in small groupsCreate fun, engaging and positive lessons using the Helen Doron methodologyEncourage children to communicate confidently in EnglishFollow our structured curriculum and prepared teaching materialsMonitor children's progress and provide feedbackCommunicate with parents when neededWork closely with and be part of our teaching teamWho we're looking forWe believe personality and the right attitude are just as important as previous teaching experience.You might be a great fit if you:have an excellent command of Englishgenuinely enjoy working with childrenare responsible, reliable and well-organisedare warm, empathetic, playful and energeticfeel comfortable leading and motivating a group of childrenare creative and enjoy making learning funare available to work regularly in the afternoons throughout the school yearare interested in becoming a long-term member of our teamPrevious experience working with children or teaching is an advantage, but experience with the Helen Doron methodology is not required.We provide professional Helen Doron teacher training, ongoing mentoring, structured lesson plans, teaching materials and continuous support from our team.If you love English, enjoy working with children and are looking for a meaningful role where you can grow as a teacher, we would love to meet you! 💙
