The school is committed to continuous improvement in its programs and classroom practices.Role Description The English Teacher will work full time on-site at SpInS Interactional School in Surabaya, delivering engaging English lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and using interactive methods to foster student participation. The teacher will assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom activities, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of performance. Additional tasks include collaborating with colleagues, participating in school meetings and training, supporting extracurricular language activities, and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment. The role requires consistent classroom presence during scheduled school hours and active contribution to the school community.Qualifications Strong instructional skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to manage classrooms and support diverse learners.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including designing structured, age-appropriate lessons and assessments.Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, collaboration with colleagues, and interaction with parents or guardians.Master degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification or TEFL/TESOL is an advantage.Experience teaching English in a school or similar educational environment, preferably with classroom-based instruction.Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to participate in professional development and school initiatives.
