Students learn through engaging, interactive lessons designed to make language acquisition enjoyable and effective. The academy is integrated into the Ruangguru Super App, providing flexible schedules and continuous access to high-quality English content and pedagogy anytime, anywhere. Learners can take placement tests, join interactive online classes, and earn digital certificates upon course completion.Role Description The English Teacher will deliver high-quality, interactive English lessons to learners of various ages and proficiency levels, following the academy’s curriculum and teaching standards. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with Cambridge-based methodologies, and using digital tools and the Ruangguru platform to support student engagement. The teacher will monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain clear communication with students and, when relevant, parents or guardians. Additional tasks may include participating in training, contributing to curriculum refinement, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.Qualifications Strong proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching, with proven experience delivering engaging, learner-centered instruction.Competence in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured lessons, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL qualification is an advantage.Experience with online or blended learning environments and comfort using educational technology platforms.Ability to work on-site in Yogyakarta, maintain a consistent teaching schedule, and adapt to diverse learner needs and backgrounds.Strong classroom management skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to inclusive, student-focused education.
