📢 WE’RE HIRING: INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH TEACHER – IB ENGLISH B📍 Presidential School in Tashkent, UzbekistanPresidential School in Tashkent is seeking an experienced and highly motivated International English Teacher to join our academic team.We are specifically looking for a strong IB English B educator with Cambridge curriculum experience who can inspire academically ambitious students and contribute to our developing IB learning environment.🎯 The RoleThe successful candidate will primarily teach IB English B, while also supporting the delivery of English within the Cambridge curriculum, including Cambridge English as a First Language where required.Key Responsibilities• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging IB English B lessons aligned with IB philosophy, objectives and assessment requirements.• Prepare students effectively for IB internal and external assessments.• Teach English within the Cambridge curriculum and support students in developing advanced reading, writing, speaking and critical-thinking skills.• Design inquiry-based, student-centred learning experiences that promote independence and international-mindedness.• Use assessment data and formative feedback to monitor progress and provide targeted academic support.• Contribute to curriculum development, collaborative planning, moderation and standardisation.• Work closely with international and local colleagues to maintain high academic standards.• Participate actively in professional development and the wider academic life of the school.Essential Requirements✅ Bachelor’s degree in English, English Language, Education, Linguistics or a relevant field✅ Recognised teaching qualification/licence such as PGCE, QTS or equivalent✅ Strong secondary/high school teaching experience✅ Proven experience teaching IB English B✅ Experience teaching within the Cambridge International curriculum✅ Strong knowledge of IB teaching, learning and assessment practices✅ Excellent written and spoken English✅ Ability to work successfully in a multicultural and academically demanding environmentHighly Desirable⭐ Completed IB English B Category 1, 2 or 3 professional development⭐ Experience in an IB World School⭐ Experience teaching Cambridge English as a First Language⭐ Experience preparing students for external examinations⭐ Evidence of consistently strong student outcomes⭐ Experience working with highly able and academically ambitious studentsWho We Are Looking ForWe are looking for more than a subject specialist.
