Safe Egypt also offers rehabilitative psychological support for abuse survivors through qualified psychotherapists. All services are provided based solely on need, without discrimination based on race, gender, or religion.Role Description The English Teacher will work full time on-site in Cairo, Egypt, delivering engaging English language lessons that align with Safe Egypt’s educational and empowerment goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing learners’ progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, adapting teaching methods to learners’ ages and backgrounds, and promoting communication skills and confidence. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate psychosocial and awareness themes when appropriate, participate in staff meetings and training sessions, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering structured lessons to diverse learner groups.Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design age-appropriate, learner-centered curricula and classroom activities.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to engage sensitively with learners from varied backgrounds.Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification or relevant training is an advantage.Experience working in educational or community-based settings, preferably with children, teens, or women, and a demonstrated commitment to equality and safeguarding.Ability to create an inclusive, non-discriminatory learning environment, manage classroom dynamics, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work on-site full time in Cairo, Egypt.
