The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from Classes 6th to 10th, building strong fundamentals, improving language skills, and preparing students for school and competitive academic requirements.The candidate should have excellent command over English Grammar, Literature, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, and Communication, along with the ability to make classroom learning engaging and effective.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach English to students of Classes 6th to 10th as per the academic curriculum.Build strong conceptual understanding of English Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, and Literature.Prepare students for school examinations through structured teaching and regular practice.Explain complex grammatical concepts in a simple, practical, and student-friendly manner.Conduct regular class tests, assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-solving sessions.Prepare worksheets, assignments, practice questions, and other learning resources.Track individual student performance and provide appropriate academic guidance.Identify learning gaps and provide additional support to students who need improvement.Maintain discipline and create a positive, interactive, and focused classroom environment.Encourage students to improve their spoken English, vocabulary, pronunciation, and overall communication skills.Coordinate with academic coordinators and other faculty members regarding student progress.Communicate important academic observations and student performance updates when required.Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic planning, faculty meetings, and institute activities.Follow the institute's academic processes, teaching methodology, and assessment standards.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in English / English Literature / Education or a relevant field.Strong command of spoken and written English.Excellent knowledge of English Grammar and school-level English curriculum.Good classroom management and student-handling skills.Ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.Strong presentation and communication skills.Ability to work with students of different learning levels.Comfortable using digital teaching tools, presentations, online resources, and smart-class technology.A positive, patient, and student-focused approach.Preferred Experience0-2 years of teaching experience in English for Classes 6th to 10th.Experience with reputed schools, coaching institutes, or educational organizations will be preferred.Experience in preparing students for CBSE / GSEB / ICSE curriculum will be an advantage.Candidates with a proven record of improving student performance will be preferred.
