English Teacher for Public Schools

Key responsibilities:Deliver high-energy, communicative English lessons within our Enhanced English Program at assigned public schools, focusing on boosting students' listening, speaking, and natural pronunciation skills.Engage classrooms of 35–45 students through interactive activities, language games, and collaborative tasks that maximize student talking time.Collaborate closely with local Vietnamese Teaching Assistants (TAs) to maintain classroom discipline and ensure a smooth teaching flow.Review provided lesson plans and digital materials ahead of time, adapting activities to suit the specific age groups and proficiency levels of your students.Conduct formative and summative language assessments, including speaking tests and interactive evaluations, to track student progress.Provide regular updates regarding student performance and classroom dynamics to the Academic Team and Learning Management Department.Attend onboarding training, academic meetings, workshops, and occasional school events like English festivals or speaking contests as required.Job requirements:Be a native English speaker (from the US, UK, CA, AU, NZ, IE, ZA) or a non-native speaker with native-like fluency, clear pronunciation, and a neutral accent.Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, which is essential for the Vietnam Work Permit application process.Possess a recognized international English teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA (with a minimum total hours: 120 contact & 80 independent).Have at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in K–12 education, working with young learners or within public school programs.Have proficiency in using AI tools to enhance teaching, lesson planning, and student engagement. Provide a clean and valid Criminal Record Check from your home country or local Vietnamese authorities (issued within the last 6 months).Demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, high energy, and genuine patience when managing large classes.Maintain good daytime availability on weekdays (Monday to Friday) to match standard public school timetables.Benefits:Earn a highly competitive hourly rate or a stable monthly salary package for full-time roles.Receive full sponsorship and dedicated administrative assistance to secure your Vietnam Work Permit and Temporary Residence Card (TRC) or Business Visa.
