This integrated framework fosters critical thinking, creativity, and real-world readiness for higher education and future careers in India and abroad.Role Description The English Teacher – IGCSE will be responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous English language and literature lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, preparing learning resources, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives. The teacher will participate in parent meetings, student mentoring, and relevant co-curricular activities that enhance language skills and overall development. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Indian Public School campus in Tiruchirappalli.Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in secondary or high school education, preferably in the IGCSE or similar international curriculum.Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing assessments and learning activities that support varied learning styles.Background in Education, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication, professional interaction with parents and colleagues, and effective written documentation.Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and learning.Demonstrated classroom management skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.Commitment to holistic student development, ethical conduct, and continuous professional growth.Prior experience in Cambridge IGCSE English or other international school settings is highly beneficial.
