This integrated framework fosters cognitive development, creativity, critical thinking, and strong academic foundations for higher education and future careers in India and abroad.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher – IGCSE role based at The Indian Public School campus in Tiruchirappalli. The English Teacher will plan and deliver engaging IGCSE English lessons that align with Cambridge curriculum standards and school guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of grades and reports. The role involves creating a supportive classroom environment, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and integrating activities that build language skills, critical thinking, and exam readiness. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in staff meetings and school events, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, and contribute to co-curricular initiatives that support holistic student development.Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven experience delivering IGCSE or comparable international curricula.Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, student-centered learning experiences aligned with Cambridge standards.Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, constructive feedback, and effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification in IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum is an advantage.Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, assessment, and learner engagement.Demonstrated classroom management skills, commitment to student well-being, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.Experience working in a multicultural or international school setting is preferred.
